Inference - Using what you already know and clues from the text to figure out what is not directly stated. Examples - 'Her teeth were chattering and she was hugging her arms.' We can infer that she is cold. Watch the video. What can you infer about how a character is feeling at a point in time. Make sure you include: - The paused time of the video when you see the character - What you infer about this point in time - Why you think this (I think this because...) - your schema (what you already know) and the clues (characters actions / expression) Have a go at summarising a book, a chapter or a even just a single page. Don't forget it must be in a sequence (in order) and only the MOST important parts.
Don't forget to write the title and author of the book. |
